LTK (formerly LiketoKnow.it and RewardStyle), the influencer shopping app with 40 million monthly users, announced on Thursday the launch of a free direct message tool for creators to instantly share preset responses with followers.
The new tool, called LTK DM, is integrated into the posts section of the LTK app. When a creator shares an Instagram post, and a follower comments “Shop” on it, the tool automatically sends the follower a direct link to the creator’s LTK page as a private message, allowing them to quickly shop for the product they’re interested in.
The purpose of the new feature is to help influencers convert Instagram comments into earnings and save time by automating sharing links with all their followers. Previously, users had to manually send links to followers or invest in a third-party automated DM tool. Now LTK is offering one at no additional cost.
Starting today, LTK DM is available to all users globally.
The app has introduced a slew of new features this year, including the ability to post 60-second videos of in-depth fashion content and “Shopper Alerts” to notify shoppers when an item drops in price or is back in stock. Smaller updates include a new products tab, Shopper favorite lists, and a link optimization tool for a more efficient click-out process for shoppers.
